Third Coast Theater offers several communications and performing arts classes, including:

Comedic License Junior Performing Arts Workshops
Six-Week Courses: Five two-hour class sessions and a show
Registration: $175 (10 participants max, ages 10-17)
Nurture your child's creativity in a six-week session where we build a show from scratch based on what the participants would love to do on stage. More than just an outlet for your child's talent, this course will teach participants about creating a project from start to finish and about being on a performance team.
Participants will receive coaching and feedback about their performance on stage as well as their teamwork. Participants will be coached to create in the moment from what makes them happy versus what they think they "should" be doing, as well as to be accountable to their team members. They will also learn the rudiments of being a part of something bigger than themselves and what it takes to produce something -- sales and marketing, planning and execution -- all within the context of doing something they love and having FUN!
The class concludes with a full-length variety show, the culmination of the massive creativity and execution that will take place over the six-week course. Tickets to the show will be $7.50.
