Corporate Training

Third Coast Comedy offers a variety of teambuilding and communications training packages, as well as coaching and corporate acting/roleplaying options.

I. Improv "Lunch and Learn"
Session: Includes one 45-minute presentation (no exercises/games)
Series: Includes four 45-minute presentations with some debrief and games

II. Third Coast Comedy Teambuilding Session
Two-hour presentation with debrief, games and optional mini-show

III. Coaching and Feedback Session
A 60-minute follow-up to the Teambuilding Session or Lunch and Learn (series only).
Option A: One facilitator, maximum of six participants
Option B: Two facilitators, maximum of 12 participants

Purpose: To ascertain is the rules are being used and to what success; Field questions concerning the application of the rules to participants' jobs; Obtain feedback from the participants about how to support them in utilizing the rules to their fullest advantage.

IV. Improv Course
Six two-hour weekly sessions for up to eight participants

Purpose: To explore the rules of improv and their real-world applications in depth. This course focuses on improving communication skills and techniques as well as teambuilding. Includes trust-building and connection exercises along with lots of practice in both fun and day-to-day scenarios. See Life Is Improv! Intro Course description for more details.

V. "Improv" Your Patterns of Communication
One-day session with two facilitators
Audience: Management-level participants, maximum 12

Purpose: To apply the rules of improv, previously discussing in the Teambuilding Session or Improv Course, for maximum results in collaboration and communication. Discuss the four basic patterns of communication, plus learn the skills of acknowledgement, curiousity, observation and feedback. Includes practice exercises.

VI. "Improv"ing Your Leadership Skills
Two-day session with two facilitators and two improv actors
Audience: Management-level participants, maximum 12

Purpose: To combine improv and leadership skills to produce the ability to lead people in the ever-changing business landscape. Custom-written scenarios are the basis for practice exercises where participants can apply their new skills in a safe environment with objective improv actors. In these practice sessions, participants have the opportunity to experience feedback from three sources: a trained facilitator, an objective, third-party actor and their peers. In addition to heavy practice of effective communication and leadership skills, these sessions include information on coaching techniques, learning styles and more.

This course requires significant pre-planning and customization. A discovery and scenario development session must be scheduled in advance of this workshop.

VII. Coaching for Leaders
One-on-one hourly sessions with a coach and a single participant
Audience: High-level leaders

Purpose: An opportunity for your high-level leaders to receive individual custom coaching to hone their individual strengths. Groups sessions offer information and practice. Take individual skills to new heights with leadership coaching, where participants will benefit from a unique quality of attention designed to elicit a leader's brilliance.
